I first saw Gemma at the Rotary conference in Tamworth when I was just a novice. There she stood, on a very large stage with not a note in sight. She just spoke from the heart and I was hooked! Here we are 11 years on and as the Australian co-ordinator, I still find the growth overwhelming! I was present when the school first opened its doors in 2002 and then again in 2004. The rate of expansion, the look on the children's faces and the impact of the difference an education can make in a child's life is, in a word, humbling. To be part of such an experience - a privilege!
