Charlotte Peyrat Vaganay, Bursar (2004-2007)
I have been hooked to St Jude's back in the old days of 2003 when I heard Gemma on a talk at St Albert's College, UNE. She spoke from her heart and I was amazed. I was grateful that she welcomed me with open arms to work at St Jude's in 2004 and I loved it so much that I stayed until 2007. Three years of working in the office, seeing the enrolment of students going from 180 kids to 800. The staff growth was also overwhelming and so was the number of volunteers.

Today, I still sponsor a young woman, Julieth, who is now in Secondary School and who is a brilliant girl. She can talk endlessly about all the books she has read and all the people she admires.
