Finally after seven months of construction we are able to open the boarding houses connected to our current primary campus!
Thank you SO much for supporting our Boarding School Appeal and supporting our dreams. (Gordon, Helen and family - we are a great team, aren't we!!)
Back in April, the building site looked like:

...and a few weeks ago, the same site looked like:

Then in early November we opened!! You could not have had more excited children (you could not have had more exhausted staff!!)
Thanks to the Sisters of the Oblates of the Assumption order, we don't have to worry about the management of the boarding houses.

Below is Kim, who helps me to run the school, talking to some of the girls soon after they arrived into their room for the first time. They are so excited about having a bed to themselves, three good meals a day, water to bath with and assistance with their homework!

For many it will be the first time sleeping under a mosquito net!

And finally a wine for us!! Staff awake? Tick. Kids accounted for? Tick. Electricty working? Tick. Water working? Tick.................. tonight, anyway!
