Chloe Chick (Armidale, Australia)- Volunteer 2004 & 3 Peaks In 3 Weeks Team Leader
It is nothing but love for St Jude's - The location, beneath the stunning Mt Meru, the airy buildings among banana plantations, the friendliness and diversity of staff and volunteers and most importantly, the incredible students. Joisi's amazing smile, Godson's personality, Godhappy's football kick and Boniface's determination. What I love the most is knowing that my small contribution is making a difference. Not only did my time volunteering at St Jude's allow me the opportunity to “give something back”, it changed the way I look at my life forever and provided a greater understanding of the issues affecting not only Africa, but the driver behind world poverty.
