The School of St Jude is a charity funded school that provides quality FREE education to approximately 1,500 primary and secondary children from the poorest communities in Arusha. St Jude’s has over 1000 visitors to the school each year, ranging from day visits, school and tour groups, families and corporations. Visitors are a vital part to the ongoing success of St Jude’s and marketing the school to sponsors and donors. The school seeks applications from enthusiastic and organised individuals for the Visitor Team.
Dedicated Tanzanians and International Volunteers make up the Visitor Team that plays a key role in St Jude’s success. Team members are enthusiastic, motivated and friendly individuals who are extremely organized, can think on their feet and outside the square, and are willing to work flexible hours. A love of people is a must! Previous travel experience in a developing country is highly desirable.
