In my work, I go beyond the typical ideas of beauty. I believe that real beauty comes from being honest and confident. Whether it's a soft smile, an elegant pose, or a burst of energy.

About the Artwork and Artist

Genia joined The School of St Jude in 2014 at age 8

She is part of the Nyiha tribe which is an ethnic and linguistic group based in southwestern Tanzania and northeastern Zambia. Nyiha are traditionally weavers, iron workers, hunters, and some own cattle, goats, and poultry. They grow cash crops of maize, millet, and coffee.

Her most favourite subject is art.
