In this painting, I sought to capture more than just the physical features of an aging individual; I wanted to convey the depth of wisdom, strength, and quiet dignity that comes with a life lived fully. The subject’s eyes are central to this piece, glowing with a sense of timeless understanding, as if they have witnessed both the beauty and the hardship of life.
