Zola”She who carries the Sun”, 2025

By Student  Genia

Zola is not just a woman, She is a embodiment of generations of memory woven into skin of earth and fire of grace that moves like water but stands like stone.

This work is a tribute to the African woman; her resilience , her silence that roars, her presence that commands, she carries not just her own story, but also those of her mother and her daughters, braided into her hair, etched in her skin sung in her soul.

Acrylic on canvas, 80cm x 60cm
