Within days, three lights went out and the St Jude’s alumni family was shaken to its core.
Elizabeth (Class of 2020) was building a promising future while educating her younger sisters and supporting their family home. Noel (Class of 2019) faced a long kidney illness with extraordinary courage, surrounded by alumni who stood faithfully beside him. brahim (Class of 2017) was diagnosed with malaria and, sadly, passed away two days later.
As flags flew at half-mast at The School of St Jude, alumni gathered in strength: travelling, raising funds, cooking, preparing burial venues and comforting both families. Their lives were brief, but their impact will endure.
Elizabeth, Ibrahim and Noel may have left our sight, but never our hearts. May their souls rest in eternal peace and may the love they planted live on within our community.
