Fulfilling their ambitions-Learning never ends

The first St Jude’s alumni complete master degrees.

It has been three years since the first Beyond St Jude’s Scholarship Program (BSJSP) scholars completed university in 2019, and since then, we’ve proudly celebrated the tertiary graduation of many more alumni of The School of St Jude.

Today, alumni are beginning careers in a range of professions from teachers to doctors, engineers to social workers. This year, for the first time, the Alumni Association and St Jude's community is celebrating alumni graduating with master’s degrees and career certifications.

St Jude's Alumni Association now includes two alumni who have graduated with master’s degrees and seven who have received Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licences.

It is with great pleasure we announce our two first master's degree graduates, Jackson (Class of 2015) who recently received a Master in Economics from the University of Dar es Salaam and Winnie (Class of 2017) who just graduated with a Master of Science in Finance and Investment from the Institute of Accountancy Arusha.

The path to a postgraduate qualification is challenging, demanding, and sometimes unpredictable, but but it is certainly worth it. "It feels rewarding. You think of everything you had to go through and appreciate yourself for doing what you did; of course, there are many lessons for things you did wrong or did not try," Anna shares.

To get what we want or desire, we must work hard and smart to achieve it. It takes sacrifice, hard work, time, patience, prayers, and belief to achieve our goals and dreams. Knowing that nothing comes easily is the best way to tackle all the challenges we face as we pursue our dreams.
