Intro

Greetings Alumni,

We are hoping you are all having a wonderful start to 2024. We hope university, work and your families are all progressing well. We at the Alumni office can’t believe how fast time flies.

Beginning of this year we received exciting news that five of scholars have received scholarships to study in Kenya, 2 in Ghana, 2 in Germany, we have celebrated staff who have been at St Jude’s for a decade and we are all also happy to inform you that we will be launching our new alumni portal “St Jude’s Connect”. We can’t wait to have it up and running this year.

We want to celebrate and highlight all our alumni doing amazing work out there during the year, so if you want us to share your or experience and would like to get featured in the newsletter please let us know.

We have exciting stories for you in this year’s first newsletter including a welcome note from Ms Vivian- Senior Manager- Special Programs.

This quarter’s theme is ‘Get involved’ as we believe there are endless ways for you to get involved with the school and our alumni association. But also, should you have ideas or suggestions on how you would like to get involved, we are more than happy to facilitate that for you. For instance, we would like all of you to be part of the Spirit Program, through volunteering or giving financially the school. Last year we were so proud that many alumni volunteered and we would love that it remains the same this year.

I hope you will enjoy this quarter’s release as much as much as we enjoyed putting it together for you.
