There is an abundance of gratitude in Neema's heart as she reflects on her second year at the Institute of Accountancy Arusha (AIA). She is immensely thankful for the support that allowed her to pay all her bills on time, granting her the courage to face any challenge that comes her way. Includes taking her exams punctually and fulfilling her responsibilities.
She witnessed some of friends who couldn't attend exams due to unpaid fees, lacked accommodation, or chose to drop out for various reasons. She counts herself fortunate that this has not been her path, and she attributes her gratitude to St Jude's for making it all possible.
She eagerly anticipates the better opportunities that await her in the coming year. Her story is a testament to the transformative power of education and unwavering support.

Sefu a second-year scholar at the Institute of Finance Management (IFM) in Mwanza, is a shining example of the power of giving back. He has so much to be thankful for, and his journey is a testament to providing community support.
He had a unique opportunity to return to Muriet Secondary School, where he volunteered in 2022. Instructing more than 215 students in Chemistry as they prepared for their national exams this year.
Giving back would not been possible without the Beyond St Jude’s (BSJ) Program, which provides opportunities for alumni to volunteer as teachers in local government schools. He’s an inspiring example of how small acts of kindness can have a significant impact on the academic journeys of young learners.
Eric takes a moment to reflect on the incredible opportunity to engage in his Community Service Year (CSY) at St Jude's Smith Campus. This year has been transformative, shaping him into a young and mature adult equipped with valuable skills that will undoubtedly influence his future.
Eric's heartfelt gratitude extends to the teachers and staff who have been his guiding lights. They've not only helped him discover his true potential but also challenged him to grow in ways he never thought possible. He says, 'Thank you for an amazing year!'


Abrahamani, a second-year student at the Tanzania Institute of Accountancy, had a tough time with increased content and an extra subject during his second semester. Despite the stress and pressure, he promised himself to maintain 4.8 GPA from year one or aim even higher.
In his pursuit of excellence, he reached out to the BSJ team for guidance. Received invaluable advice, diligently worked on it and achieved a remarkable 4.6 GPA, bringing immense joy to his year. Abrahamani extends his deepest gratitude to the BSJ team and St Jude's. Determination, support, and unwavering commitment can help us overcome any challenge and reach new heights.
"I am grateful for a year of community service that taught me so much. Exciting news—I've secured a scholarship to study Business Administration at Ashesi University in Ghana from January 2024.” Thanks to St Jude's for their invaluable support during my applications. Dreams do come true with determination and the right guidance. To all St Jude's students, remember, your dreams are attainable too!"
