Imagine a scene where we have the likes of Flavian Matata on stage bringing the African style vividly, a blend of African Rhythm and modern beats like those of Chakachaka and the great Tingatinga paints and Makonde carvings altogether.

"Nurturing African identity in the global world" was the theme of this year's Cultural Day at St Jude's. The event kicked off with a vibrant fashion show featuring South African Zulu wear, Nigerian attire, and outfits inspired by ancient Egyptian Pharaohs. Traditional dances, including Maasai jumps and coastal waist-shakers, captivated the audience. Poetry, drama, and choir performances left a lasting impression. The day wouldn't be complete without food, and attendees enjoyed delicious African dishes like Loshoro and Ng’italolo
