Strong and proud, the ancient wisdom behind soft eyes, the elephant is the king of the land. In this painting I wanted to depict the strength of his tusks and softness in his eyes, this powerful creature is a gentle giant but also ready to defend his family.
~ EmanuelEmanuel joined The School of St Jude in 2017 at age 15. He is part of the Msambaa tribe who are an ethnic and linguistic group based in the Usambara Mountains of northeastern Tanzania and in Tanga, among the trading sea port in Tanzania. Throughout his time at St Judes Emanuel has excelled at biology and hopes to one day become a veterinary doctor.
