In the heart of the island where the sea whispers to the trees and the wind carries songs across the hills, lives Kiwango the parrot whose features shimmer with legacy of Africa and the rhythm of ocean.
Kiwango is not just a bird, it is a keeper of stories, a mimid of memory and living echo of ancestral voice this piece reimages the parrot not merely as a creature of mimidy but as a vibrant storyteller.
Acrylic on canvas, 80cm x 60cm
