About the Artwork and Artist

Denis joined The School of St Jude in 2014 at age 8.

He is Sandawe, part of an agricultural ethnic group based in the Dodoma region of central Tanzania.

The Sandawe language is tonal and uses clicks, similar to the Khoe language of Southern Africa.

Denis hopes to become an architect and excels at art, geography, and mathematics.
