Is a tribute to the sacred and enduring bond between mother and child a connection rooted in love, sacrifice and cultural continuity through the intimate of breastfeeding.
This piece honors African motherhood not only as a biological role but as vessel of heritage, strength and survival. The mother’s body becomes both provider and protector, a living symbol of resilence that nurtures both life and legacy. By centering this quiet moment of care, the work invites viewers to reflect on the universal yet often over looked power of maternal love within African tradition and beyond.
