You can take the next step and become a sponsor. When you sponsor an academic scholarship for a St Jude’s student or graduate you are helping to fund their education. Sponsors cover the cost of a student’s academic scholarship, providing everything a student needs for a successful education. As a sponsor, you will receive regular updates from St Jude’s including academic updates, photos and personalised letters. You can even write to them in return!
Please email accounts@schoolofstjude.co.tz to advise the date and amount of the transaction. Both of these actions help us to identify payments and to allocate the money correctly.
St Jude’s secondary graduates are eligible to apply for the Beyond St Jude’s Program (BSJ). The first year of the program, called the Community Service Year (CSY) is spent volunteering their services, either as a teacher in a government school, or around the St Jude’s campus.
Your sponsorship gives a stipend which covers a volunteer’s accommodation, transport and daily expenses as they share the fruits of their free, quality education with the community.

After successful completion of the Community Service program, our graduates are supported through higher education with Beyond St Jude’s (BSJ).
By sponsoring a Tertiary Scholar, you are covering tuition and exam fees, accommodation costs and daily living expenses for a scholar undertaking their first higher education qualification.
