Through a vibrant and textured use of colours I merge the physical and metaphysical. The girl becomes a conduct of ancestral power through her drumming proclamation of joy and resilience.

Hamza joined The School of St. Jude in 2025 at the age of 12 years. He’s part of the Rangi tribe which is a Bantu-speaking ethnic group in central Tanzania, primarily inhabiting the Dodoma Region, specifically the Kondoa District.
He dreams to become an artist when he grows up.
