About the Artwork and Artist

Najma joined The school of St Jude in 2013 at age 8.

She is part of the Sukuma tribe, a Bantu-speaking people in Northen Tanzania south of Lake Victoria . It is the largest ethnic group in Tanzania.

Najma’s dream is to become a tour guide and explore Tanzania’s rich cultural and natural diversity.
