From Hope to Impact

In January 2027, The School of St Jude will celebrate 25 years of fighting poverty through education, and we’d love you to be there with us.

Since opening our gates to just three students in 2002, St Jude’s has grown to three schools, 1,800 students and thousands of graduates. For 25 years, our incredible community of students, families, staff, alumni and supporters has made this journey possible.

Now, it’s time to celebrate together.

Join us in Arusha

Plan to arrive in Arusha by Saturday 23 January, with departures from Sunday 31 January 2027.

We’ve created a special anniversary week filled with opportunities to experience St Jude’s, connect with our community and celebrate the impact of the past 25 years.

Whether this is your first visit to St Jude’s or your fifteenth, there will be something new to experience alongside some old favourites.

Throughout the week, you’ll have opportunities to meet students, alumni, families and staff, experience life across our schools, hear stories from throughout St Jude’s journey and see firsthand the impact of a St Jude’s education.

You can also get involved, with special activities alongside our students and community including art, sport, tree planting, service activities and more.

The big celebration

On Friday 29 January 2027, exactly 25 years since St Jude’s first opened its gates, we’ll come together for our main 25th Anniversary Celebration.

It will be a special day of celebration, reflection and connection as we look back on how far St Jude’s has come and look forward to what the next chapter will bring.

Then, on Saturday 30 January, we’ll mark our anniversary by giving back through a special Day of Service, bringing visitors, students, alumni and our wider community together for activities that make a practical difference.

The closest international airport is Kilimanjaro International Airport that is about an hour’s drive from The School of St Jude.
