Since the first graduating class of 2015, St Jude’s alumni have grown to more than 1,500 strong, with graduates studying at 44 universities across Tanzania and 10 countries globally.

Did you know that:

•    90% of our alumni that graduated tertiary studies in 2023 are employed in key sectors across Tanzania, including engineering, healthcare, IT, education, finance, and accounting

•    20% of our alumni are self-employed and have created more than 150 job opportunities within their communities

•    800+ graduates have participated in the Beyond St Jude’s Scholarship (BSJP)

•    112,000+ government school students provided with volunteer teachers through the Community Service Year (CSY) Program.

    Relive St Jude’s Science Day 2024.

    Every year, St Jude’s hosts the Science Fair, a special event highlighting our students’ creativity and innovation.

    The 2024 Science Fair at St Jude’s featured innovative projects from students in science, ICT, mathematics, and art.

    Our young innovators from primary and secondary schools presented working models and designed experiments that addressed challenges in environmental conservation, agriculture, IT, sustainable energy, and much more.

    What Happens on House Checks?

    On this episode of Inside St Jude’s, Teresia and Irene talk to St Jude’s staff who volunteered to conduct House Checks for Form 5 students who were shortlisted for St Jude’s scholarships.

    House checks are the next step after the scholarship application process is completed. The staff conduct House Checks to determine which students would benefit most from a scholarship to study at St Jude’s.
